So 2 Years and a baby later, I am finally back on the road to healthy living again. I have some outside motivation this time that may help me along the way. Today is the beginning to the NEW AND IMPROVED ME!! I have been saying for years that I want to get healthy. Now I mean it. I have a little one to look after, that needs her mommy and her daddy. Travis is looking GREAT these days. Don't get me wrong, my husband has always look GOOD but this summer he decided that he wanted to take his health seriously and he took on the daunting task of the P90X workout. It was intense and he was dedicated to doing his workouts DAILY. Now 5 months later, he is back to the size that he used to be when we were in HIGHSCHOOL together. OMG!!! It works. I have started to do a lot more Cardio and happy to say that I am fitting in to my prepregnancy clothes now. Of course, things have shifted and moved but hey everything fits in them. I was dedicated to getting up and jogging 4 miles atleast 3 days a week. Of course, like everything that I do that kinda fell by the wayside. I got caught up with school and life and I put myself on the back burner AGAIN!!!
Well, NO MORE, it's time for me to start focusing on me. I need to get myself back in shape. I am almost 30 years old (Ok, maybe not almost 30 but close enough), and it's time for me to stop saying I will start tomorrow, I'll start next week, or this is my last week of being able to eat like this. The time is now. I have decided to start the p90x program myself. Not the bulk up, look manly version, I will be doing the lean version. I am so excited. I have a workout buddy, more like a motivator, and we will be lifting eachother up. I will be posting my before pics on this blog, so that I can see progress every week or so. Like we say in Texas GET 'ER DONE!!!!
